Dr. Anstead completed the prestigious fellowship in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery at the University of Miami, Florida with one of the founding fathers of skull base surgery, Dr. Roy Casiano. She is a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society and a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Anstead completed her Residency in Otolaryngology ā Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago where she was awarded the Resident Research Award. She completed her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Miami, Florida, graduating with honors and nominated to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. Prior to medical school, Dr. Anstead completed two concurrent Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Psychology. She is a Certified Practitioner by the Institute for Functional Medicine and completed a second fellowship with Dr. Andrew Weil at the Center for Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona.
Dr. Anstead has been voted Best Doctor in Seattle by her peers in the Seattle Metropolitan Magazine many times. She has frequently been an invited speaker on the topics of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery across the Americas and Europe and directed cadaveric dissection courses on Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery for her peers.
